SUSTAINABILITY
The company is aware of the growing international concern from various international, non-governmental organization with regard to the legality and sustainability of forest and its related social and environmental issues.
Henceforth, one of the major priorities of Costraco’s strategy is the continual support and commitment to responsible approach to forestry management and its biodiversity.
Towards this end, Costraco has obtained and are Certified Chain-of-Custody holders of PEFC (Programme of the Endorsement of Forest Certification) from Independent Certification bodies.
CERTIFICATE
In trading and export of certified timber products, Costraco group will take all the necessary measures to source timber products from suppliers that have obtained CoC Certification or are processing timber from resources that have been awarded the certificate for Forest Management or Certificate for Chain-of-Custody by PEFC council.
